Dr. Bhattarai is an Orthopedic Surgeon with training and clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of orthopedic trauma, fractures, joint disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and common bone and joint conditions.

During his postgraduate training at Kasr Al Ainy, Cairo University, he gained extensive exposure to orthopedic trauma and surgical management of various musculoskeletal conditions.

His special interests include orthopedic trauma, fracture fixation, shoulder and upper-limb surgery, joint disorders, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

His postgraduate research focused on proximal humeral fractures, with his thesis titled:

“Functional Outcome of Open Reduction and Internal Fixation with Trans-osseous Augmentation for Proximal Humeral Fractures”
